SDG 5: Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment

It is a Human issue. It affects us all. Women constitute 50% of the world's population, equal treatment, and empowerment are universal issues. The fifth SDG primarily concentrates on removing gender biases. To achieve our goals and potential, it is imperative to progress and break free from inequality and women's ill-treatment. Discrimination and abuse of women exist in all spheres of life. It begins as early as access to life (female infanticide), genital mutilation, sexual abuse, marital sex, child marriage, access to education, clothes, health facilities, etc. The same attitude and treatment have spilled over the workplace and manifested in political and social circles.
